How Coins & Stocks works

Last updated: 2026-08-09

Snapshot first

The home table loads a public CDN snapshot so you see many symbols quickly without signing in.

The shared CDN snapshot is fetched and rebuilt about every 3 minutes from public exchange market endpoints.

Live refresh

When the tab is open, selected venues may refresh from public REST APIs (Bitget, Binance, Bithumb, Upbit) under rate limits, often more often than the 3-minute snapshot.

If a venue is slow or blocked in your region, rows may stay on the last snapshot.

Filters and compare

Filters, column sorts, and exchange compare operate on the numbers already in your browser.

They do not place orders or change anything on the exchanges.

Browser price alerts

Alert thresholds live in local browser storage. The page checks them while it is open and may use Notification permission if you allow it.

Clearing site data removes those rules. There is no cloud bot watching markets for you 24/7.

Ads and privacy

Optional Google AdSense ads may appear to fund the free tool. See Privacy for cookies and choices.

Ads never rewrite the market table.

What we never do

  • Ask for exchange API trading keys
  • Submit buy or sell orders
  • Host user accounts or balances
  • Guarantee fill prices or funding rates
